On 11th October 2014 the Art of the Magic Lantern visited Romney Marshes as part of their annual arts festival held in local Churches. The theme of this year’s festival was Blue. We held a slide painting workshop during the afternoon and a performance at the end of the day. We told the story of Derek, a local farm boy who travelled the world in search of a magical blue dye he had seen in a dream.
